In 2007 "Jewish Woman Prisoners of Ravensbrück" appeared in English. The sociologist Dr. Buber Agassi and her team did a meticulous study of the composition and the fate of the various groups of Jewish women who were imprisoned in Ravensbrück. It was Mr. Netzer, a good friend of the author, an eyesore that this book was not available in German. He has been intensively engaged in the effort to make this German translation possible.
Since many of the last survivors of the Ravensbrück women and their descendants now live in Israel, the appearance of a Hebrew translation of the book was Judith Buber Agassi's heart desire. That this publication now has been realized, is also a tribute to her work.
A CD-Rom adding a wealth of information may be found in each copy of the book.
