Orientation after Auschwitz comes first of all from the voices of the victims. In this workshop we want to take a look at two new fields of research concerning "faith in Auschwitz" in as well as Jewish and Christian experiences and perspectives.
The Amud Aish Memorial Museum in Brooklyn, New York (USA) is collecting Jewish orthodox testimonies of the Holocaust. The CEO Rabbi Sholom Friedmann will introduce them to us.
At the John Paul II Papal University in Krakow (Poland) Dr Joanna Barcik, the granddaughter of a survivor, is working on Polish Christian survivors' testimonies. She will speak about her findings.
